OK so can someone please explain to a dumb Brit, why our federally minded friends in Belgium have imposed a smoking ban in public places UNLNESS you happen to be in Brussels?
It was a real blast from the past last night going into a bar with a local friend and having to cut your way through the smoke to find the bar!

Why should they follow rules which destroy the enjoyment of many of their citizens? Rules are to tell others what to do...not your own! Rant over from this ex-smoker
